back when I first set up this list one year ago, I expected to begin a cadence of monthly releases, making incremental progress on where bespoke was back then. I was naïve enough to believe that bespoke was in a developed enough state that it could be widely used at that point, but after watching a number of users bounce off of it, I realized that the lack of documentation and plethora of rough edges was making bespoke too inaccessible.

so, I decided to pull back from the incremental updates plan, and instead refocused on a massive overhaul, adding documentation, and sanding off those rough edges. in the process of documenting the past 10 years of modules I've written, I sure did find a lot of stuff to clean up! and so, here we are, one year later, with a much more complete-feeling version of bespoke, fully documented and with all dead-ends removed.
one of the most significant changes for new users in this release is the in-app documentation: tooltips that describe all 192 modules, and tooltips for each of the controls within them. 1,167 tooltips in all! I'm hopeful that this will greatly help new users to quickly gain a foothold in bespoke. the tooltips also provided a way for me to create automatic documentation for bespoke, which is accessible here: bespokesynth.com/docs
